As a book lover I like to read lot of books, my wish list just goes on… but its not always possible to buy all the books, for obvious reasons. So I thought of having place to meet with other book readers and exchange, sell or buy books. The exchange of books can take place based on users convenience, even we people can meet in a shopping mall and just exchange books. Please visit

After reading the above given article, I felt that media continuing its habit of blaming others for its own wrongdoing. I remember, news channels portraying the murdered girl’s friend/classmate as prime suspect by showing some circled school group photo repeatedly. They never thought what kind trauma they are causing to that kid and his family, I don’t blame police for this, because they are just doing their job to find the culprit by asking some questions around to gather information.

Recently I have seen a “breaking news” that now an IIM is called after late Rajiv Gandhi. Questions popped up in my mind like who is he? Why they are naming an IIM after him? I know he was one of the farmer prime minister and was killed for some reason, no one knows the exact reason, some say LTTE and some say political rivals killed him. Whatever the reason he was killed and for that he got “bharatha ratha” highest civilian honor of this nation and he is among the country’s best citizens. For getting bhratha ratna he satisfies the below

This is exactly the system communists want in this country, I am not very sure if this system will bring any good to our “developing” nation. Now I am 26, since my childhood people are using the same “developing”, I don’t know when I will hear “India a developed country”. Our neighboring country is having closed political system and open economy and they are doing very good according to different reports I am finding in media. Indian communists are forgetting the words of Lenin, “capitalism can only be overthrown by revolutionary means; that is, any attempts to reform capitalism from within, such as Fabianism and non-revolutionary forms of democratic socialism, are doomed to fail”.

This 37 years young man with a last name he is sharing with father of nation and solely riding on it with out showing any of his own credentials or skills needed to be a leader. I really don’t understand why media and the party itself is calling him as young face of congress, the party of 100+ years old does not have a potential leader to choose other than a person whose only qualification is his last name.
Coming to his gimmicks in Orissa like disappearing into night with out informing authorities who is taking care of his security (does he really need that security is completely other question) and risking the lives of the few SPG personal who escorted him and risking his own life. Government is giving him security by spending crores of people’s money, but he does not have any respect for his life nor at least for the money government spent to keep him alive.
The 60,000 crore former loan waivers given by government in the budget is to launch him as PM candidate in the next general election, that is scariest thought I am having after seeing his “Discover India”(lol
) tour to Orissa. People get ready for a PM whose only qualification is his last name.

“No ideology could be allowed to straitjacket thoughts of an entire nation“
Well said Mr. Prime Minister, thanks for being strong against those mindless commies who think themselves as intellectuals and in the illusion of saving the national interests when they are doing quite opposite. Everywhere in the world communism evolved based on political and social changes, but sadly not in India. Indian communists still believe in the ideology borrowed from other countries and they never been able to derive or define some ideology which suites for India. I never heard a communist proposing a constructive solution to any of the issues they are raising, for that matter no political party does that in India, that’s very sad thing but a reality. I reckon any political parties interests should lie with the interests of country and its people. I hope some day we will see a political system in India which thinks and acts positively and constructively. May be too much to expect, but what to do I am a born optimist
dear ashok,
Shut your mouth and stop suporting the stupid statement the congress government is making. All congress leaders are licking sonias feet ,just because they want to be in power. If you are a real hindu protest it ,I dont mean you to support BJP or RSS but atleast save your individuality. If you take away RAMA and Hinuism from india all that left will be ashes
Above are the amusing comments left by some anonymous reader to my previous post about Ram and my support to UPA for issuing such statement. I am a Hindu by birth but I am not very proud to be called one, because the purpose any religion is to unite people and make their lives more enjoyable. I bet Hinduism was doing the same and is intended to do the same now, but we divided our religion into multiple casts and even barred some of the casts from entering temples. I reckon for any religion temple is a place to show your unity and show your goodness to the world, there every one should be equal which is not true in our temples. If any hindu temple is not restricting people based on their cast, they are dividing them based on their financial capacity( The best example is TTD).
Coming to these comments “If you take away RAMA and Hinuism from india all that left will be ashes”, I really don’t know what to say about these comments, because the comment itself is a big joke. Let me explain. Even considering Mr. Ram existed and he was a good king, what have we learned from him except making him a political figure and destroying integrity of this country over his temple. If Mr. Ram was the person, people had described him, he would never accept anything like this to happen in this country, he might have rubbished Ram Sethu issue even he had built it him self. Ultimately the goal of any good king is to give good to people and his country.
I still stick to my opinion about the government’s short lived claim. It’s bad that they had to eat their words over this issue. I repeat my statement that “Hinduism is not a religion, its a way of life”. All the hue and cry over Ram Sethu is a political gimmick and its not at all an issue. We have much bigger problems to solve in this country like education and child labor. Let me conclude this post by saying, “I am hindu and I will be an hindu for my life treating Hinduism as a way of living life”.
