మహెష్ మీరు చెప్పింది రైటే…కానీ..దనికంటే ముందు వచ్చేది సమాజాభివ్రుద్ధి. సమాజాభివ్రుద్ధి అంటే ఆర్థికాభివ్రుద్ధి కాదు. మనిషి కి ఎలా ఆలొచించే షక్తి ఉంటుందో సమాజానికి కూడా ఉంటుంది. కాని మన దెషం లొ మనిషి ఆలొచనాశక్తి బుద్ధుడికి జన్మనిస్తే, సామాజిక ఆలొచనాశక్తి మాత్రం యాభై యెళ్ళ నుండి ఒక్క కుటుంబం పరిపాలన నే జన్మనిచ్చింది…అదీ కకుండా మతాల పెరిట పర్టీలు కూడ కొన్నాళ్ళు పరిపలించెతత్తు చెసింది.
ఇది ఏల సాధ్యం?

అంతెందుకండి..సర్వ షిక్షా అభియాన్ కింద వెల కొట్ల ధనాన్ని రాజకీయ-లైంగిక సరసాలకి ప్రభుత్వ ‘మహాత్యులూ మళ్ళించిన సంగతి మనకందరికీ తెలుసు..ఐనా మనం ఒక్క మాట మాట్లాదలెదు దీన్ని ప్రష్నిస్తూ. ఛైన వళ్ళకి opinion లెదంటే..మనకి ఆలొచనే లెదు!!

ఇండియా చవట దేశం అని చాలా తేలిగ్గా అనడం కన్నా,ఈ చవటతనానికి అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలొ ఉన్న గౌరవాన్ని గురించి కూడా తెలుకుంటే మీ రక్తం కాస్త చల్ల బడుతుందనుకుంటాను.రాబోయే కాలంలోని ప్రపంచరాజకీయాల్ని చైనా శాసించినా, భారతదేశం మాత్రం ఒక స్వతంత్ర్యప్రతిపత్తి కలిగిన దేశంగా మిగిలి ఉంటుందని అదే పుస్తకంలో చెప్పినట్లున్నారు. కాస్త చూడండి.

చైనా గురించి మనకు తెలిసిందానికన్నా, తెలియనిది చాలా ఎక్కువ. కాబట్టి వారి ఆర్థిక నమూనానో లేక సామాజిక నమూనానో మనం పాటించేస్తే భారతదేశం లో పేదరిక నిర్మూలన జరిగిపోతుందనికూడా అనుకోలేం కదా!

మన దేశ సమస్య ఒక నిర్థిష్టమైన Institutional Delivery Mechanism to deliver `Development’ till grass root level లేకపోవడమే అని నాకు అనిపిస్తుంది.

ఇండియా పెద్ద చవట దేశమని అందరికీ తెలుసు అందుకే నైసుగా indians are humble, meek and peaceful అంటుంటారు జనాలు. అలా అన్నప్పుడల్లా రక్తం మరిగిపోతూంటూంది.

మీరు స్ట్రోబ్ టాల్బట్ కొత్త పుస్తకం చదవండి. రాబోయే కాలంలో ప్రపంచ రాజకీయాలు ఎటువైపు పయనిస్తున్నాయో తెలుస్తుంది.

నాకు చైనావాళ్ళని బాగా ప్రశ్నలతో వేధించటం అలవాటు (ఎందుకంటే వాళ్ళు ఒక పట్టాన ఏది బయటికి చెప్పరు). ఈ మధ్యన ఒక చైనా ఎల్లయ్యను ఏమిటండీ ఆర్ధికవ్యవస్థ కాపిటలిజం అయ్యింది కదా? మరీ త్వరలోనే డెమోక్రసీ కూడా వస్తుందా? అంటే ప్రస్తుతం చైనా ప్రజలకు కావలసింది తిండీ, బట్ట..మీ ప్రజాస్యామ్యాన్ని ప్రస్తుతానికి మడిచిపెట్టుకోండి అన్నాడు..

India is a “soft state”, believes in dialogue to deal with it’s problems and issues its faced with including Pakisthan.But, its humility can’t be mistaken for weakness.We hold a moral high ground in international polity and that counts a great deal.

We cannot and shouldn’t become like china. Our cultural ethos and wibrant democracy means much more important than just the `development’ of China we speak of. I vote my freedom more than the money I can count on.

Interesting Comments. Yes I agree that we need friends in international community but some how we always beg them for their friendship but we never fully recognize our capability to control them with our 1 billion population and our import strength and how much their economy is depending on us. The reason why we can not become China in near future is our communist parties and a fake socialist tag to our constitutional name of our nation. Though we carry socialist tag we never been able to fulfill its definition, in India socialism ends at providing subsidies on everything. The best example is 123 nuclear agreement and how the communists are dead in their tracks to support it while china and Russia grabbed the opportunities with both hands.

While your opinion is really good , it applies only in the ‘ideal world’.
I agree India, in its 10k yr history has never started a war, but that did not stop everyone else taking away the wealth of India (monetary as well as intelligence).

by support I did not mean supporting a war, but supporting someone’s claim.

in international politics you need friends, and friends in high places. in order to do so, you have to make them happy, but if someone else makes them happpier then you lose. this is what is happening with indo-pak situation and US/UK relations.

The only other option is to become as strong as china (which means political, economic, military strength) and then we can do whatever we want.

This however, is not possible in near future and even if its possible we with our “kindness” and religiosity would let it fade away into yet another eternity of poverty under political clans with a gandhi topi on their head and swiss bank accounts and island accounts in their pockets.

I dont see any meaning in someone starting a war and supporting it. It just adds to the burning fire and makes the situation worse. Thought of war should comeup when there is no other way or in a worst cases and be used only as a shield to defend. But not with the intention to kill or threaten or occupy or prove strength.

Well…he is able to speak like this because his complete support(strategic & military) comes from US & EUROPE . If India has to take such action/threaten in the same way, who will support it?
