Dog Day Afternoon

As usual I was spending my weekend watching DVDs, then I suddenly I found this AL Pacino movie “Dog Day Afternoon”. I would say this is father (smile_nerd)of all hostage drama I have seen so far. Its funny in a way and very entertaining. With this movie I had a well spent Sunday after noon.

For those who don’t know Al Pacino, he is the Scar face guy and the guy who acted the title role in God Father III, what a gifted actor he is, splendid performances. Coming to the story of the movie its a quite simple, two(actually three; watch the movie to find out what happened to the third one) disparate guys tries to rob a bank and found themselves with almost empty safe and bunch of ladies who work in that back as hostages(obviously police come into the seen), then starts the cat and mouse play. The way its been presented is great and some way it reflects 1972 American society. Watch this movie you will like it smile_wink
